About Me

I’m an evolutionary biologist, interested in the origin of biodiversity. I study adaptive divergence in a classic, yet understudied example of sympatric speciation, Lake Bermin, Cameroon.

I currently study at UCSC in the Coastal Conservation Action Lab under the co-advisers of Drs. Don Croll and Bernie Tershy. I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon (2010-2013)

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, settlers of catan and traveling.
